Water Treatment Plant General Permit

We will conduct two public workshop and formal hearing events for the draft Water Treatment Plant General Permit.
Each workshop will begin with a short presentation about the proposed changes to the permit, followed by a question and answer session. The hearing and formal testimony will start after the question and answer session. The hearing will conclude once everyone who wants to provide testimony has had the opportunity to do so. Written comments will receive the same consideration as oral testimony.
Background
The Water Treatment Plant General Permit helps treatment facilities comply with state laws and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. This permit contains specific requirements and conditions for permittees to protect rivers and other waterbodies that receive wastewater discharges.
